Its technically still summer, but where I am in this world (Bay Area California) it has gotten quite a bit chilly this week. To remind myself of summer and lift my spirits, I decided to do a Pink Floral Manicure tutorial.
Now I’ll be honest here, I have NOT been keeping up with the nail world lately. I have either been sporting bare nails or simple one color nails. So while this manicure is not fancy or very impressive, I am happy to be sporting any nail art again.
For this manicure I used the following:
- Butter London Nail Foundation
- OPI – Small+Cute=<3
- OPI – My Twin Mimmy
- OPI – Apartment for Two
- Sally Hansen – Green with Envy
- Dotting tools
- Seche Vite top coat
To kick this nail look off, I used Butter London’s Nail Foundation. I adore this base coat, especially when I’m using a light pink nail color. Next, I applied two coats of OPI’s Small+Cute=<3 from OPI’s Hello Kitty collection.
Then I dotted OPI’s Apartment for Two, a hot pink color from their Breakfast At Tiffany’s collection, towards the lower corner of my nail near the cuticle. Next, I dabbed a single dot of OPI’s yellow shade, My Twin Mimmy, also from their Hello Kitty collection for the center of the flower. And lastly, I dotted and dragged a little touch of green on two sides of each flower using Sally Hansen’s Green with Envy.
And there we have it! A cute little manicure to help get my finger tips (haha) dipped back into nail art. Let me know what is your favorite super quick and easy nail look is! Is it ombres? Strips? Dots? Let me know! 😀
