Happy Thursday! Christmas is creeping on us…like fast. I still have a tiny bit more Christmas shopping left to do, is anyone else in the same boat as me? I will get that done soon though, because I refuse to be one of the poor souls trying to shop on Christmas eve! Cause, its not fun, eep.
So earlier this week I posted some nail art with one of the most stunning pale gold polishes I have, such a Christmas appropriate polish, that I used for Steampunk nails instead. So today, Imma do it, Imma stick to the inspiration of christmas!
So I started off with a polish I haven’t worn often, not sure why. Here we have two coats of Urban Decay in Mrs. Mia Wallace from their Pulp Fiction collection that came out in 2014 (really?? That long? Shoot). This is a gorgeous blood red with some minor shimmer.
I then decided to remove the ring finger and apply three coats of a green fine glittered polish. The bottom sticker with the name of this polish fell off sometime ago, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this color is China Glaze in Winter Holly. To be honest, I really like it at this stage and almost wanted to just call it here.
But of course, we have to continue forward to the nail art! I grabbed my Moyou London Festive 06 plate and grabbed the lights pattern on the second row.
After stamping the image to all fingers except the ring, I grabbed an assortment of colorful polishes and started to dot them around where the bulbs were.
I also grabbed a star image from the Sailor Moon Hehe 13 plate and stamped it near the cuticle on the green nail.
And there we have it! Christmas lights over a red background and a star at the top of my ring finger to mimic a tree feel. Ths may not be the most sophisticated holiday manicure, but I really like it! What do you guys think?
As always, thanks for stopping by and reading!
