Simple Blue Geometric

Hello all!

I want to thank everyone who stopped by earlier this week! I am proud to say that I am back with a second post this week! I aim to return to a Tuesday & Thursday posting schedule. While I can’t guarantee this schedule, I will do my best. And hey, week 1 of my return is already a success 😉

Anyways, on to the nail art!

Since Tuesday’s post involved some more elaborate nail art which included studs, stamping, and free hand art I decided to go for a cleaner and more simplistic mani.

For this manicure, I was still feeling a blue vibe so I reached for Essie in Style Cartel, a rich navy blue. For this manicure, I used two coats on all five finger nails. After the polish dried, I decided I wanted extra flair on my accent nail and add some gradient color. Using a sponge, I applied Style Cartel, an purple Essie polish I have in a mini (no name unfortunately!), and an unnamed pale lilac from LA Colors. I was curious to see how a sheer polish like the LA Colors would turn out on a dark base, but to my surprise, it didn’t turn out badly at all! It took about three light passes with the sponge to achieve the gradient you see below. To finish off my accent nail, I used Mundo De Unas white stamping polish and the QA92 plate I bought from the Born Pretty Store.

The look didn’t feel complete and I still had an appetite for studs, so I applied a textured square stud at a tilt to all the other nails.

And there we have it, the final manicure for this week! I really like how clean and modern it looks while still having that simple chic vibe.

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by, till next week!
