I’m back with a review of the YSL Touche Eclat Neutralizer I received from Influenster. This new product from YSL is a color correction pen which helps neutralize unwanted colors and help create the perfect complexion.
I was sent No 3 Violet, a creamy lavender color, which is great for brightening up dullness. The formula of these pens is very similar to the original Touche Eclat pens. The formula is sheer, light weight, and buildable.
I love using this product underneath my eyes, cheekbones, nose, and other high points on my face for some subtle matte highlighting underneath my concealer. I feel like I was able to get a nice bright and awake look using this pen in my routine.
However, I’m not sure I’d call this product a game changer. Its super nice, I enjoy the formula, and notice the effects, but its not dramatic enough for me to strongly recommend everyone to add a color lavender color corrector to their routine.
Although I do enjoy this product, I can’t seem to justify making the Touche Eclate Neutralizer, $38 at Sephora, a staple in my routine. Its a bit too pricey to add into my daily routine with only subtle results. If you’ve got some money burning a hole in your pocket, or do find any improvements in your makeup routine worth the $38 investment, then totally jump on the color correction train. I do enjoy using this product, I just want to be clear when I say I’m not sure its necessary, especially if you’re a beauty junkie on a budget.
Have you tried this? What are your thoughts?
