Today I have another quick review/nail art for you similar to last week’s. In addition to the Stars, I was also received some bow decals.
The bows are a rather simple shape. On one side, the bows are a cool toned gold and on the other they are a warm bronze. Unlike the stars, the shape of these decals is not long and pointed, so these don’t tangle in the bag. However..like the stars, these decals don’t tend to lay flat.
For this manicure, I did two coats of Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in “Pat on the Black” and on all fingers except the ring. On my ring finger I did two coats of Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in “Gilded Lily” and stamped a bow from Born Pretty Store’s BP-62 plate using Mundo De Unas stamping polish in Black.
I placed a bow decal on my index and pinky nail. As you can see, the the decals don’t lay very flat against the nail. You can try to bend the decal into a curve to better fit your nail, but I personally find that to be a little bit more work than I am willing to commit to. I’m lazy lol.
Again, I find these great for editorial nail looks and special events, but not so practical for every day wear. However, with these Bow Decals being at the Born Pretty Store for only $0.59, its really not a bad item to throw in an order to have handy for those fancy and flashy nail art.
Thanks for reading! Let me know your thoughts on these, do you think they are worth the small investment? 🙂
DISCLAIMER: I received the Bow Nail Art Decals from the BornPrettyStore in exchange for an honest review & demonstration. All other items were purchased by me. Additionally, all opinions are 100% honest and my own. If you have further questions or concerns, feel free to contact me. Thank you!
