BornPrettyStore Review & Apple manicure

I haven’t posted in what seems like forever.

My post college gap year finally came to an end earlier this year and I started my full time position, which has left me with a lot less time for hobbies and fun. I’m finally getting use to my new schedule and have a few posts lined up to get back into the swing of things. I want to start myself on a stricter schedule to ensure that I keep up with this blog. So, to kick off the relaunch of my site (gave it a tiny little makeover, bet you can’t tell! :P)  I’m back at you with a Born Pretty Store review!!

Here I have the QGirl-009 Plate from the Born Pretty Store. Its a lovely plate that has some linear designs, a sound wave/heart beat type of design and some apples. I find it super adorable with lots of potential for various designs. The quality of this stamping plate is totally top notch. The etching is very deep and I did not have trouble picking up any of the images.

Demo:

For a base color I used China Glaze in Red Satin and stamped using MDU Stamping polishes in black and in white. The images stamped crisply and transferred over easily. I really love the way this mani came out, although please do forgive my non straight stamping featured on my ring finger lol.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality of my Qgirl plate!

If you are interested in picking up this plate or anything else at the BornPrettyStore, here is my coupon code for 10% off your order (excluding sale items),  you may use it as many times as you wish! 🙂

Again, thank you so much for reading!

XoXo

  1. I can never quite decide if I like plates that have a mixed theme for the designs or not. On one hand, I like having variety; on the other, sometimes the lack of an overarching theme means that I’m less likely to feel like I *need* them. This stamping is top notch though! I like the red base.

    • I have some mixed feelings on it myself. Theme plates are certainly easier to draw some quick inspiration from when creating manicures, but I do like having a few mixed plates the some random variety that comes in handy down the line. Thank you so much! :3

    • Thank you! 🙂 I’m such a sucker for stamping plates with cute images, they’ve just taken over my nail art lol
