St Patrick’s Day Nails

Totally haven’t posted in forever. Why? Cause I have taken up a job and now have significantly less time than before. Although I miss the joys and endless free time of unemployment,  I cannot deny that I LOVE the financial benefits of employment.

But that doesn’t mean I should neglect my nail art, does it? Of course not. So without further delay, I present to you my St Patricks Day nails!

For this look I used a handful of polishes. I used an Essie base coat and for base color I used Butter London’s Jaded Jack.

Next I did a quick ombre using Opi’s Christmas Gone Plaid for the base of the nail, an orly color without the name on the bottom (bought from marshalls, where people don’t treat nail polish all too well), and Butter London’s Jaded Jack again at the tips.

Afterwards, I sponged on two different glitter coats on all nails EXCEPT the accent nail (ring finger). The first was China Glaze’s Graffiti Glitter and Ciate’s The Hamptons.

All that was left was to stamp using MyOnline Shop’s XII plate (the two St Patty’s Day images, both all over nail designs) with Essie’s Good as Gold.

I stamped one image all over the nail (the one without glitter) as a nice accent and for the rest, I used the other image on just the tips to compliment the more yellow gold. Lastly I just topped with Seche Vite and was good to go!

Let me know what you think and thanks for checking it out! Oh, and do tell me if you recognize that bottle of Orly!
