So this blog post is coming at the very end of the #FrostyVoxBox campaign, but I chose to do it at the very end so I could properly tell you about my Influenster & first voxbox experience. And oh boy, was it experience! It was a blast getting to try out all the products in the Frosty box and getting to interact with the companies on social media.
What came in the box?
- Boot NO7 Protect & Perfect Serum
- Rimmel London ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner
- Rimmel London Gentle Makeup Remover
- NYC Expert Last Lip Color
- EcoTools Hairbrush
- Fruit Vines Bites in Strawberry
- Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea
- McCormick All Natural Thyme
You can see why I was excited, hu? Lets take this box review step by step.
Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum
This little sample packet lasted me for about 5 days. This serum felt so nice against my skin, it absorbed super easily into my skin and provided a very awesome base for my makeup. My skin felt very moisturized and soft after using it. Based off the few days that I used it, I am very interested in using the coupon included in the box to buy a full sized product to really see the benefits of this serum after a month or more use
Rimmel London ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner
Okay, so if I could say one this about this liner is that it was love at first swatch!! You can check out my full review here!!
Rimmel London Gentle Makeup Remover
This makeup remover is oil free so it doesn’t leave any kind of residue behind, which is pretty nice. The formula in this remover is very light, like water, and refreshing on the skin. The only downside to this makeup remover is that it is sometimes a little TOO gentle and doesn’t get rid of my waterproof mascara.
NYC Expert Last Lip Color
I got NYC Expert Last Lip Color in the color Sugar Plum. The color is a kind of a mix between a plum and berry color with very light shimmer without it being too frosty. The formula is pretty light and moisturizing, but still pretty opaque. I really enjoyed wearing this color.
This brush is pretty nice, but to be completely honest, its not the brush I would have personally chosen for myself. My hair is pretty thick and wavy, so I tend to stay away from soft bristle brushes, like the one that came in my FrostyBox. This brush claims that it will tame frizz and it actually does. So after I brush my hair with a stiff bristle brush, I like to use EcoTool’s brush afterwards to smooth out any frizz.
Fruit Vines Bites in Strawberry
Yes, yes, yes! I mean its candy and its STRAWBERRY! I love snacking on this so much, that I totally did not want to share with anyone! I know, greedy me haha.
Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea
I have been a fan of Celestial Seasonings tea, I usually buy their Chamomile tea. My other tea choices are usually in the stronger caffeinated teas, like Earl, English Breakfast, and so on. I found I really liked this tea. Its nice, light with a soft cooling candy cane after taste. Pretty festive!
McCormick All Natural Thyme
Thyme! You always gotta have time for some thyme. I like to sprinkle some herbs and spices when I’m cooking to give my food that extra sense of flavor. I like adding thyme to both salmon and chicken because I really think think that both are really good vessels for any flavoring you add to it. With the Salmon I can really taste those notes of thyme, so its one of my go to spices when cooking a healthy meal like salmon. I was actually running low on Thyme before I got a new bottle from Influenster, so thanks guys!
